Gift Cards Increase Net Income 20% !
Almost daily our clients tell us of ways they make gift cards work for them.
Rene's Salon in Sioux City Iowa who is in a shopping mall is going through over
100 per week even in the off season. Children of clients are using the cards to
pay for services and products too. Use of our automated Rewards Cards can also
increase income.
Did you know that 20% of the value of gift cards you sell is
never redeemed, how many do you have in your drawer or purse? Another tidbit is
that 80% of gift card users buy services and products for more than the gift
card value. You do the math, if you sell 10 cards per week and average $20 per
card that is $10,400 per year in sales, like getting a free trip to Hawaii.
Merchandizing is the way to light the gift card fever. Prominent display of
gift card material in your shop can greatly increase sales. In the hustle bustle
world we live in today what could be more appealing than a gift of beauty card.
Many of our shops have several signs and even pay commissioned operators 10% on
gift card sales.
It is not uncommon for clients to purchase multiple gift cards at one time.
By clicking on the Add button when processing a gift card sale you can add as
many gift cards to one client purchase as desired. There current record is 10
cards purchased by one client.
Have some fun, try this. Take 50 gift cards and put $5 on each card up to
card 46. Then put increasing values on the remaining 4 cards starting at
$10, $20, $50, $100. Now offer the cards for sale for $5 each and let the clients pick
from the stack of cards.
Rewards cards can improve client retention by 50% and more. Something for
nothing appeals to all of us. Turn on Rewards Cards in client magic and watch
your business an cliental grow. Some of our shops run their daily summary report
and see what days of the week are not as busy. They then offer double rewards
points on those days. Our points can be set to any value, we recommend 1/2 cent
to 1 cent each, and set your services to give them a equal number of points to
the dollar value. If a foil wrap is $150 give them 150 points, at .01 each this
is only $1.50
